The special cable expertise of Quest Technik und Service GmbH is based on 30 years of experience in the manufacture of cables and repair of modern rail vehicles, production systems and special machines.
Development support
If necessary, we also contribute our experience to the engineering. We think and work as a team with the aim of achieving an even better result in less time. In complex projects, experience has shown that details are only noticed at the end despite the best pre-planning. In such cases, we are on hand to provide advice and support in order to find a professional and pragmatic solution. Here, the idea of partnership is again in the foreground and we measure ourselves by the qualitative and economic success of our projects.
Project management
Our customers are increasingly looking to hand over complete modules of their projects and thus have less management effort. Thanks to our project management expertise, we can also support our customers with construction site management. We see ourselves as players in a team where the focus is on achieving the overall goal.

Implementation & Installation on site
Our assembly team consists of experienced and committed electricians, mechatronics, engineers and locksmiths, so that we can cover all important activities in an electrical installation (ETCS, ASG, etc.).
In the following, we roughly describe a typical installation process in railway technology: - Working through the technical documentation (installation instructions) and clarifying questions in advance. - Needs analysis of special tools, IT, materials, chemicals, etc. - Arrangement of on-site support and safety briefings - Log in to on-site project management - Inspection of the installation environment with the supervision of the customer team in order to better understand the installation site - Completeness and quality check of the material to be installed - Comparison of the installation instructions with the actual situation - Securing the installation location and shutting down the installation environment (unlocking/grounding) - Start of the conversion/installation including documentation of the work steps and results. - If necessary: on-site assembly, repair or replacement of technical components such as cable harnesses - Organization of acceptance by the client and discharge - Static and dynamic commissioning support - Cleaning the working environment and signing off with the project management
Testing and commissioning
If desired, we also support the so-called "Test & Commissioning", whereby we take strict care not to confirm our own work ourselves. Thanks to the support in the test phase, the acceptance process can be processed faster and more efficiently. In addition, any errors or problems that may arise can be rectified and clarified immediately.
This saves time and nerves.
